The reason Google delayed the release of the stable version of Android 14

Jakarta (ANTARA) – Google officially revealed the reason for delaying the release of the stable version of Android 14 because of improvements to the new features that will be offered to its users.

One of the features that is focused on development is related to personalization which is expected to make it easier for users to manage Android services that are more suited to their needs.

“The latest features will allow users to personalize their experience according to their individual desires and lifestyle. With Android 14, users can organize smartphones them more easily according to their preferences,” said Google in its official statement received on Thursday.

Google further stated that it is committed to providing further updates on Android 14 in the near future.

Google said that the launch of its new operating system will take place in October 2023 and in the near future it will announce clearer details.

“Android users are encouraged to follow updates from Google to get the latest information regarding this development,” Google said.

Previously, on Saturday (9/9), the delay in the release of the stable version of Android 14 was also revealed by Mishaal Rahman, someone who can be trusted for news regarding Android development.

The Android expert said the delay in releasing Android 14 occurred because of the discovery of a security vulnerability that had to be fixed.

“That may be a new release date. October 4 is also the same day as the Pixel 8 launch event, so if this is true, this will be the first time an operating system release has been pushed back to coincide with the launch of a new Pixel device,” said Mishaal via the X-account @mishaalrahman.
