Apple Releases iOS 17.4: Presents New Emojis and Podcast Transcription Features

Apple introduced the Home button in the Apple Music and Books apps in iOS 17.4. This button replaces the Listen Now button in Apple Music and Read Now in Books.

If you subscribe to Apple Music and press the button, a page will appear that displays a menu, the last song you listened to, and recommendations based on previously played songs.

Meanwhile, when Apple Book users press the button, users will see menus such as Current Bestsellers and Start Reading for Free.

  • Siri Can Read Messages in More Than One Language

In iOS 17.4, Apple updated Siri with the ability to send messages in several different languages.

To see the feature, go to Settings > Siri & Searchthe user will see the options Messaging with Siriwhich replaces the Automatically Send Messages feature.

Click Messaging with Siri and there is a menu Add Language. If the menu is clicked, users can now ask Siri to send messages in other languages, such as Arabic, Spanish and Thai.

Apple also claims Siri can read messages in other languages.

  • New Experience in Using Apple CarPlay and Apple Maps

Apple is giving Apple CarPlay and Apple Maps a new look in some supported vehicles. So, there will be more complete information.

However, Apple has not announced which vehicles support this feature.
